I am trying to get chemists to accept the idea that the periodic table should start at element zero (nilium, having zero protons and zero electrons), in the noble gas column (which should be at the very left, not right), and that the neutron is just a radioactive isotope of nilium. So far my radical ideas have not earned me the Nobel prize in chemistry, however.
