It's not clear (to me at least) what, if anything, Rosenfeld's projective plane for $\mathbb{C}\otimes\mathbb{O}$ has to do with the algebra in question (is it a mere analogy or is there a construction of one for the other?). The answers to this past question of mine are somewhat relevant but don't really answer the present question.
